What happens when Melbourne’s most-loved botanic gardens joins forces with one of Australia’s premier outdoor music event organisers? The result is Live At The Gardens.
Music lovers, mark your calendars – this is going to be one of the year’s most unforgettable concert experiences!
The iconic Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is partnering with Roundhouse Entertainment, the highly experienced and successful team behind a day on the green, to transform the luscious lawns of the Observatory Precinct into a unique outdoor concert space.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, Live At The Gardens will launch in November 2024 over two magical weekends, with an amazing array of artists to be announced very soon.
Another series of gigs will follow in March next year, with Live At The Gardens planned to become an ongoing event.
The award-winning tourism attraction, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne has been a treasured part of Melbourne’s cultural life for almost 180 years – loved by generations of Victorians, as well as visitors from interstate and overseas. Established on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong peoples, it continues to be a place of gathering, a green oasis in the heart of Melbourne and one of the world’s most beautiful botanic gardens. A leader in plant conservation, scientific research and cultural adventures, it celebrates and protects biodiversity while being a unique and beautiful space to connect with nature.
Renowned for curating unforgettable, world-class outdoor experiences and events, Roundhouse Entertainment is known for producing a day on the green, Australia’s original and premier outdoor winery concert series. Entering its 24th season this summer, with an incredible 530 shows and more than 4 million patrons attending, a day on the green has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world in stunning locations across the country, since its first show in 2001.
