Magic Dirt

Magic Dirt are Geelong’s grunge‑bred rock survivors – a fiercely raw, female‑fronted band that helped define Australia’s alternative scene in the ’90s. Led by Adalita’s snarling vocals and unfiltered energy, they built their reputation on distorted guitars, dark hooks and chaotic live shows that swung between noise and melody. From underground beginnings to ARIA‑nominated releases and lasting cult status, Magic Dirt remain one of Aussie rock’s most influential and uncompromising acts.
