Ratcat

Ratcat are one of Australia’s definitive indie-rock crossover acts, emerging from Sydney’s underground scene in the mid-’80s with a punchy mix of pop hooks and punk energy. Fronted by Simon Day, they exploded into the mainstream in 1991, scoring a rare trifecta of ARIA No.1s with the Tingles EP, Blind Love album and the hit single Don’t Go Now.
Blending gritty guitar rock with irresistible melodies, Ratcat helped bridge the gap between indie credibility and chart success – earning cult status and a lasting place in Aussie music history.
